Chris and I have had a rough time lately but yesterday I think we started coming out of the clouds... I wake up pressed against him, his arms still around me. There's no better way to wake up. "Mmmmm...."

I laugh and flop down, half on top of him. I can feel him laughing, too. "I'll feed you first..." I say. I hear both dogs get up and start heading downstairs. "You and the pets..."

"You're a good man," I say. We get out of bed and put on some clothes before making our way downstairs.

"Have a seat..." I say and kiss him on the cheek when we get to the kitchen. I feed the animals and start the coffee. "Scrambled eggs?"

"Sure," I smile. "That sounds nice."

I start prepping and when the coffee is ready, I pour us each a mug. "Here..." I say, handing him one. "I love you...do you know that?"
