(no subject)

I'm feeling under the weather and Chris is taking care of me. He made me his grandma's chicken soup and now we're having a hot bath. He runs a very hot bath, adds the bath oil and it fills the room with fragrant steam. "This will help open up your airways..."

He gets in first and I settle in with my back against his chest."Mmmmm..."

"Just relax and breathe deeply..." He presses a kiss to my temple. "Just relax."

Ordinarily I wouldn't be so much as relaxed but aroused but right now I am feeling just sick enough that I do relax... I find comfort in the scent of the water and his body. "Mmmm..."

"Me too..." I say. "I'm not feeling so hot... I'm gonna close my eyes..."

"Here..." I say and reach over to the nightstand for some of the medicine and a bottle of water. "Take this and then sleep, okay, baby?" I help him take the pills and drink some water then get him settled in. "Sleep now..." I whisper.

"I wouldn't dream of it. I am going to stay right here and watch over you," I promise him. He closes his eyes and relaxes in my arms. I turn off the bedside lamp so the room is just lit by the fireplace and the TV. "I'll be right here."
