I've been under the weather for a couple days and for the first time I wake up and feel almost human. I can breathe pretty good and feel a lot better. I stretch out and the bed is empty. I frown and sit up just in time to see Chris come back. "Hey..."

"Hey..." I say as I sit down on the bed beside him. "Sorry, had to pee. I was hoping I'd get back before you woke up. How are you feeling?" I ask and press my lips to his forehead to do a quick temperature check.

"I feel a lot better," I say. "I feel good, actually, despite how raspy I sound."

"You do sound all sexy and raspy," I chuckle.

"More than usual?" I say, waggling my eyebrows.

"Well...more raspy than usual," I say. "You probably have a lot of phlegm."
