I've been under the weather for a couple days and for the first time I wake up and feel almost human. I can breathe pretty good and feel a lot better. I stretch out and the bed is empty. I frown and sit up just in time to see Chris come back. "Hey..."

"It's what we do, right...take care of each other..." I whisper. "Okay...breakfast time."

"Yeah, it is..." I smile softly. "Breakfast, yum!" I say as we get out of bed.

"Put socks on." I make sure he's dressed warmly and we head downstairs. I start getting our food together while he feeds the pets.
