Chris and I are having lunch and I just agreed to watch one of his all time favorite movies, The Princess Bride.

"Sweet. You really do love me."

"To the end of time," I say.

He leans in and kisses my mouth. "To the end of time."

I smile against his lips. "Can we have popcorn?"

"Yes," I smile. "Air popped or popped on the stove?"

"Stove please," I say.

"As you wish," I smile.

[ersatzach]

"You're my very own prince," I say.

[ersatzach]

"I'm the pirate. You're the prince...ess."

[chris_w_pine]

"Ah, got it..." I laugh as I gather all I need to make a batch of popcorn. "Would would look sexy with a sword."

"Would I? I could be a real swashbuckler..."

[chris_w_pine]

I blush a little. "Watch," I say. "They're about to start popping..."

[ersatzach]

I do watch and it is really fun and his face lights up. "So fucking adorable," I say, kissing his cheek. WHen the popcorn is done he puts it in a bowl and adds a little salt. "Let's go watch the movie," I say and take his hand.

I take the bowl and flop with it on the couch when we get to the living room. Zach puts on the movie and settles beside me.

"I don't know why I didn't..." I say. "But I'm kinda glad. I like seeing it through your eyes..."

[chris_w_pine]

"Well, I loved that I could share it with you," I smile and kiss his mouth softly."

[ersatzach]

I snuggle closer,enjoying how warm he feels. "It's cold in here, right?" I ask. I wonder if I'm coming down with something...

"Don't you mean I'm hot?" I say and waggle my eyebrows.

I laugh and shake my head. "Yea, you are hot...but you're also warm. You have a bit of a fever."

[ersatzach]

"So what does the doctor prescribe?" I ask, trying to make that sentence sound sexy.

[ersatzach]

I yawn and wake up snuggled up in Chris' arms just as the credits start to roll. "Aww I missed it..."

"Apparently you needed the nap..." I say softly. "How are you feeling?"

[ersatzach]

I sniffle. "Not so hot..." I say. "I mean, hot but... bleh," I say. "Maybe I should quarantine myself..."

[ersatzach]

Chris heads out to the store and I stay curled up with Skunk. "Chris is the best, huh?" Skunk snuffles a bit. "Agreed." I look at my phone and reply to a couple of texts before turning on the tv. "Oh, jeopardy, sweet."

I head to the pharmacy and get cold meds and a box of tissues then stop at the grocery store to get chicken, carrots and noodles for the soup. And orange juice. And hot chocolate. Then head home...where Zach is watching game shows with both dogs. "I see Noah got in on the cuddle time."

"Oh yeah, he couldn't stay away," I say. He brings me my cold meds and tissues and a bottle of water. "Thanks darlin."

[ersatzach]

I feel my own forehead. "I'm not very warm, am I skunk?" He barks. "Ok ok take Chris's side..

Once the soup is on I come go into the living room and insinuate myself with Zach and the dogs. "Coming in!"

We end up in a nice big pile and then a few seconds later Harold is watching from the chair and Berk is perhed on Chris' shoulder. "The gang's all here," I say.
